Although it takes an 18650 battery, this can be recharged within the device quickly through the USB-C port. However, to get back to vaping straight away just swap it out for a fully charged one. The battery level is displayed on the screen while charging to let you know when it is ready. This is also displayed in the corner of the screen when vaping to show when it needs to be recharged. The screen also displays the output wattage, coil resistance and other important settings. These can be adjusted using the two buttons below the display.
This kit uses the Nautilus 3 22 Tank. It is a 22mm version of the Nautilus 3 tank. However, it is much more versatile. 7 airflow adjustments provide a draw to suit any vaper. This can be adjusted by rotating the base of the tank to reveal each of the different sized holes. These range from 3.0mm to 0.8mm. The tank is also compatible with all Nautilus BVC coils. This includes both the Nautilus 2 and 2S coils.
The tank also allows for coil changes even when it is full of liquid. When removing the coil, the window between it and the liquid chamber shuts. This prevents the liquid in the tank pouring out. Once the new coil is inserted the window will open again allowing you to carry on vaping. Another useful feature is the top fill system. It uses a sliding mechanism to reveal the liquid inlet without removing the top of the tank. Plus, this can be done without taking the tank off the mod, allowing you to refill on the move.
