The RPM40 “Pod Mod” Kit from SMOK, combines the shape and usability of pod/all in one devices with the power and functionality of a fully fledged mod.
Much like the previous SMOK Nord and Smok Nord 2, the RPM 40 aims to be portable and comfortable, and with it’s new 1500 mAh battery, it can go all day without a charge.
It can be used with MTL coils for freebase or nic salt vape liquids, or it can be used with DTL coils for anything else like shortfills at up to 40watts for a nice intermediate sub ohm vape.

What coil should I use with the Smok RPM 40 Pod Kit Device?
- The RPM40 Pod Kit is compatible with two different pod types and in-turn various coils
- The RPM Pod is handily compatible with all existing RPM coils.
- The RPM 40 RPM POD uses the Smok RPM Coils which are available in 1.0 Ohm for Mouth to Lung vaping and a similar draw to a cigarette. You would need to set your device to a maximum of 15w
- Or the Smok RPM Coils in 0.4 Ohm for an intermediate sub ohm vaping experience with more clouds, vapor and flavour. When using these coils set your device to a maximum 25W
What vape juice should I use with the Smok RPM 40 Pod Kit Device?
- If you’re using the Smok RPM Coils in 1.0 Ohm rating we recommend using nic salts, why not try our Primal Asalted range
- For the Smok RPM Coils in 0.4 Ohm we would recommend any liquid that’s at least 60%VG/40%PG. When sub-ohm vaping with lower resistance coils, we would recommend using e-liquids with a nicotine strength no higher than 3mg as the effect of higher nicotine can be a bit harsh on the throat. Why not try a high VG shortfill which can be mixed up to 3mg nicotine strength.
- If you are using the Smok RPM Coils in 0.4Ohm and would still like a higher nicotine strength we would recommend a High VG 10ml Liquid to avoid the device leaking. These are available in higher nicotine strengths, but please note that these may be quite strong when sub-ohm vaping.

How to change the wattage of the Smok RPM40 Pod Kit Device:
- The maximum output power is 40W, which is powered by an internal 1500mAh Battery
- You can adjust the required power within the range of 1W-40w by pressing the UP/DOWN buttons on the front of the device under the digital screen
How do I know when my Smok RPM40 Kit is Charged?
- You will be able to see the current battery levels of your RPM40 Kit on the digital Full Colour Display screen on the front of the device.
How do I fill the pod of the Smok RPM40 Pod Kit Device?
- This is a soide filling pod device so you will need to remove the pod to fill with e-liquid
- Pull out the pod
- Pull out the rubber plug on the side of the pod and add e-liquid through the slot
- Press the rubber plug back carefully and firmly. When filling the pod for the first time, please let the device stand for 2-3 minutes to prime the coil.
